The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many recent changes to life, including how we carry out our commitment to educating our students while caring for their social and emotional needs. Families can access COVID-19 related information on this webpage as we continue to make updates.
2020-21 Reopening Plan
Evansville Day School continues to monitor the local situation with regard to COVID-19. We believe that the ability to be flexible and nimble in our response to the challenges of this year are paramount. As such, we have created a 4 Level Plan to allow for movement between varying degrees of precautions as risk factors change in our community. Head of School Kevin Kunst recently communicated these plans to our internal community, and we will host a webinar for our families on July 22 at 6:00 pm to answer additional questions. At this point, our plan is to open our doors on August 12 as scheduled, and we intend to announce our opening level on or around August 5. We are also actively exploring options for those families who prefer a remote learning option during this time.
